Any plans on a new fixture to cover the entire tank?

Might be getting another 3ft fixture (same one im using now)
Trying to work out a deal with a fellow reefer in the area.
I like the look of the darker ends but it kind of sucks since the ends dont really have enough light to grow lps, only softies, and extremely low light ones at that.

going to look epic! however placing coral top, bottom or medium kinda takes a hit with this system no?

The camera really exaggerates the darkness on the ends. I have my huge colt coral on the right side and it receives plenty of light but in the pic it shows as almost no light. If I turn the brightness of the camera up to show the actual light on the ends the center looks washed out completely. Still debating on more light.

You could go with NPS at the edges of the tank :)

I was thinking the same thing. Since you are going softie/lps you just may be able to pull it off nutrient wise. NPS gonna need a lot of food, but if it only a few corals on the edges then it may be possible...
