Dbo's 65g BIG UPDATE-Upgrading to 125

ya i forget what i paid for mine but i remember it wasnt cheap, but what is in this hobby ya know!

 

so im having a issue with my actinic t5s.
there overdriven (forget what ballast) but they seem to almost get burned out at the ends!? and then short out.
i also noticed they get some salt creep on them, not sure if that would ruin them that quick. i replaced them 2 months ago and one already burned out.
right before it burnt out it seemed like 1 end of the t5 was turning a pink color!?!

 

I'm not going to offer you any advice on how to fix this problem. I'm just going to offer some advice on how to eliminate it.

i wish i could right now, ill have to wait until prob winter to get the kit though. saving up cash now.
i was looking into the AquaIlluminations SOL Blue also. they look puuuuurty good.

the sump is a biofuge made by Bashsea. There actually michigan based.

so as some may know i have been looking to get into the LED lighting on this tank.
was looking at DIY kits, AIs, and par38s.

there is a guy selling 5 Par38s (nanocustomes Evil bulbs) on 2 seperate track lighting strips for 250! the tracks alone are worth 100+
i think i might jump on this deal quick.
