Dbo's 65g BIG UPDATE-Upgrading to 125

Thanks. i love them. my corals seem to be responding better than my MH/T5 too. Tank temp doesnt change .1 degree. No annoying fans. I can actually get into my tank if i want now since the canopy is gone. The shimmer is incredible, way better than MH.

i have 4 20k and one 12k. i havent added the 12k yet i have to get the light mount from lowes still, but the 20k is reaaaally blue. im hoping once i get the 12k hooked up i can kind of position it so it goes across the tank to try and even out the 20k's a little bit.

 

Awesome. I can't wait to go led just for the shimmer. Do you have many softies in there? How do they like the led?

my lps seemed to open even more than before, but softies i think are still getting used to it. the few zoas i do have only opened half way. it might take a few days for them.

 

The shadowing of them is exactly what i was looking for. To me this looks more realistic than blasting the whole tank with light.
