Dbo's 65g BIG UPDATE-Upgrading to 125

Those caps are sweet! I'm thinkin about some of those towards the top of my tank. Just gotta get new filtration and lighting in place. Nice pieces dbo, tank is lookin money

ya i love caps. i went over this guys house to buy some frags from him on saturday and he had the orange cap for sale and i had to have it. been looking for one for awhile that wasnt a frag. as soon as i saw it i knew right where it would go in my tank and it fit like a gem.

The white ones are a newer model then the black ones. I'm thinking about painting the other ones white though so they all match.

 

Looks like some brs netting is in order. Just checked out the tank before I go to sleep and my new goby must have got freaked out and almost jumped out. Lucky he jumped into the overflow box and not onto the floor.

 

I have a stupid clown that gets in my overflow box at least once a week. He never makes it out of the tank though. It's annoying having to get him out all the time.

 

lol when i first added my clowns they did i all the time too.
well last night he went into the overflow box and i said screw it ill get him out in the morning. this morning i walked by the tank and he jumped out of the overflow and into the tank. im wondering how many times he did this last night lol im going to make a eggcrate lid tonight just to hold me over till i get screening.

 

Well went to home depot to get eggcrate and decided just to do the screen tops.
26 dollars total.
I used bird netting and doubled it up. Worked out great.

 

Looks good. I'll be doing this in a week or so. I've had BRS mesh sitting in a box for 3 months lol
