So apparently my goby decided he's a escape artist last night. I have no idea how he got through the netting. Found him on top of the shadowbox. Rip little buddy. [IMG]

Well today is the last day my tank will be lit by leds, for now. I'm getting a 6 bulb t5 fixture tommorrow. Planning on doing a small rapid kit sometime in the near future mounted in the t5. I'll post some pics after I install the new fixture.

If I missed something, sorry, but any specific reason why you took the T5 route? What kind of fixture did you get?

    Looks great tho, nonetheless.

I didn't have the just actinic look and no dusk dawn with my par38s. Plus you couldn't tweak the color at all. I have a nova extreme pro 6 bulb now. Now that I have the t5 installed I can say that the lack of shimmer is actually relaxing looking. The leds look liked a disco ball and kinda took away from the tank as a whole. Call me crazy but I might just stick with the t5s.

    Haha thanks :)
Since you got the 6 bulbs now, you get to play with the colorz! and the clean look above the tank!

Yea I can shoot everything wayyyy better. Corals seem to be responding well also. Right now I'm running what came with the fixture which is all coralife bulbs, 3 actinic, 2 10ks and 1 colormax. I will be switching to ati soon. Probably a mix of ati blue+, aquablue special and ill throw in a kz purple.
