so thought i would do a little update on my tank.
right now it looks like garbage. cyano started creeping in so i started doing more water changes and running chemipure elite. It started to go back to normal so i was pretty happy. Then my house a/c took a crapper and my tank got to 88 by the time i got home at night. needless to say i lost my monticap, torch, and candycane corals. frogspawn looked bad but its making a come back. fish and inverts are fine except my nem lost almost all its color, but looks to be recovering somewhat. Cyano is still present but im working on that. total bummer right now.

    So huge update here,
    picking up a 6ftx18x18 125g next weekend!!!

i will be using the same bashsea sump and might run a seperate dsb/fuge.
This will be a slow process of getting equipment for the new tank, i just have to jump on the deal so it doesnt pass me up.
i will be running this with my current 36" fixture centered over the tank, probably have most rock centered with it tapering of to each "dark end" i also have some leds(low power) that i might run on the dark ends to lighten it up a bit.
Skimmer will be the same until i find money to upgrade.
i think i will be mostly fine on equipment and just keep up on water changes to keep levels in check for now. Im Pumped!

I wouldn't get an archilles tang, they are insanely hard to get feeding and keep (or so i've heard) there are still some awesome tangs that stay smaller and aren't so hard to keep alive. Congrats on the upgrade anyway!!
