well todays friday, other lfs said they didnt get the tank and it will be in next friday. aghhhh i called another store and they have one in stock. so ill pick it up today. i never thought it would be so difficult to get a 30 gallon tank haha

so i finally got the tank last night. it will work out perfect.
today i have to trim the acrylic stand that the skimmer sits on about a inch. as you can see from the pic it doesnt fit the way i would like it to. i should get some baffles this weekend.

ordered my glass for baffles today. cant believe the cheapest i found was 50 bucks for 4 peices of glass. i should get them wed.

 

oh also ordered a 225 led fixture for the fuge today. that should be here in a week or 2

 

thats pretty expensive. i got 3 1/4 thick for like 20-ish.
are they doing anything fancy with the edges???

 

its 1/4 inch and they shaved down the edges so there not sharp. that it though lol

 

picked up my baffles today. im siliconing them in tonight. wish me luck.

so i got my baffles in. not as pretty as i thought i could do, but it will work. for the first time using silicone and doing baffles it came out half way decent. plus i got to make it to my own dimensions and i can say that i built it. im pretty stoked to get this thing up and running on sat.
