Dead anemone

    I just bought a long tentacle anemone and I think its dead it looks like something ate on it is there any way to tell if it is dead

    take a photo of it and upload it, thats ur best chance. Also post all your tank parameters, I have a very good feeling you didnt research much before buying.

    I have a LTA also... love him... he shrunk to nothing last week and i thought he might be dead, but alas he was not!! Is his foot attached? Is his mouth open or closed? Did he spit his guts out? If he is attaché sand his mouth is closed, he may just be stressed, or otherwise.

    Yes, I'd like to see a photo as well. Is the nem still looking dead?

    We really need a photo and your water parameters to be able to determine anything. Also, what type of lighting are you running and what is your bio-load?
