dead clown fish

    sounds good, thanks alot guys. I think I'll get one fish for now and upgrade the tank to a minimum of 30 gallons after.

    The larger the tank the easier it is to keep it stable as well. Have fun!!

    you can actually keep a pair of percula clowns and a firefish and a small gobie... thats pretty much it.
    but you can always compensate by gettings lots of corals :)

    Last question, since my 20 gallon is already cycled and over a year old how big of a tank can I go with to just transfer the water over and top up with new saltwater?

    do the corals add oxygen or just make it look nice?

    well.. im not quite sure but if i was you i would go as big as i could afford, and then just add some of your established sand and water to your new tank to help the cycle.. and then transfer everything over. IMO its a better move to upgrade to a tank at least 2-3 times your original tank size to really make a difference.

    well the corals do have algae inside.. and they go by photosynthesis. so im guessing they should add some oxygen although im not positive on that.. maybe someone else might chime in and tell you.
