I got 10-20 Lbs of rubbe rock from a fellow reefer the other day for free but here is the deal.
Back in early december 2008 he had a tank disaster and ended up taking out lots of LR and rubble from his system. So the rock he gave me was once live rock but has been exposed to air for 8 months now. All the rocks are dry and light.
My question is what do I have to do to safely introduce these rocks into my system?

Did he pull them out due to algae takeover or something? If he did you will want to nuke the rock first or introduce algae spores into your system.
