Dead Snail

    One of my snails has died!! Water is OK.. All other life is thriving. Should I leave him in and let the crabs use him ( as I watch water quality ) or should I pull him out?? :-/

    I'd pull it if its a smaller tank, but if large, eh, who cares then. If you pull it, don't get the slime on you, it smellls something awful and washing it off doesn't seem to rid the smell from your hand :)

    Thanks for the reply!! When I got home from work todaythe snail was moving! One of my blue legs had taken over the shell and there was no sign of the snail..

    Sounds like the maintenance crew is right on top of it rexman!
