Dead Spots

    Whats the best way to check for areas where there is no flow in a tank?

    When you feed look for areas where the food settles to the bottom.

    What I do is drop some flake food. If its a dead spot you can tell. In other words, what mike said. Sorry not much help!

    If you have a pump or powerhead that you can attach an air hose to you can hook up an air stone and see how the bubbles travel (tiny bubbles work best). That is the easiest way I have found to check for dead spots. Hope this helps!
