Well, I got up today look at my tank and see my Anemone under a shaded spot upside down. So I figure maybe it was trying ot explore some. So I went into the tank moved it it was hard as a rock. Looks like it turned itself inside out and Assumed to be Dead. Then when looking at the tank a little more I see this lil orange thing floating around.... I was like noooooooooo. I look and sure enough one of my Clown fish died as well. :-/ /cry My other clown fish is very lost now. I dont know what to do. They hosted in the anemone, and I love anemone. What is a good beginner anemone. I think I heard bubble tips but I dont know. Any suggestion and help would be very appreciated. As Im now a unhappy/sad camper for a couple days while I get over my loss. :(

Anemones require high wattage lights, they need something like 6wpg of light to live. A lot of fish stores don't tell you that so they can sell you another one in a month or so when that one dies and mucks up your tank and kills other things. Thats repeat buisness, lol.

I use the Coralife fixture. Has 2x10k and 2xacntic as 65w's each. It seemd at the anemone would hide from it some times and I have him on the bottom of the tank. I moved it to the middle some times but didnt seem to be happy there as it moved.

Ild do a water change asap, sounds like a nasty spike. As for the anemone......PC's are fine. They just need to be fed properly. My purple LTA turned 3 last week and is under 24 watts of pc. A piece silverside and mussle a week keeps em happy.
