It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Dip them and rinse in SW as much as you can, I have received a lot of frags that I thought were history and but just needed some time. If all the tissue is gone and you are left with skeleton than it probably a lost cause.

The zoanthids unless melted may just need some time as well.

Dipping them in an appropriate iodine dip or CoralRX would be how I would proceed, it might knock down some of the bacteria.

Hope it turns around for you, it can be very disappointing.

Thanks Well I live in a city with two LFS and neither had coralx or iodine so I will rinse and place in tank and hope for the best. Not really prepared for this. Thanks

Also, to add, for future reference...ALWAYS have a camera when you order online. Every vendor that I know of asks for pictures of specimens for claims procedures incase of DOA or DAA. Acclimate, dip, rinse.

do you have a cell phone camera even?

FOD is right - almost every (if not every) online vendor of livestock requires (understandably) photo-documentation of the DOA frags.

Sorry for your situation - but you never know - zoas are super tough and may pull through and maybe the favia will make it too . ..

    hoping for the best . . . .

Well the zoa went from looking like it was wearing a condom to looking like it might make it. The favia is still wearing its rain coat but we will see. Thanks I took pics with my cell but do to the lack of color they weren't to good. Well they are both under my new boost light so we will see if they are happy.

Don't give up! I got some new corals on March 6th. which had spent an extra day at the Fed-Ex Depot in Memphis due to a storm. Some seemed ok right away, but one, a Porites, is just now showing signs of life. These are known to have a poor survival rate, so I was not optimistic, but it looks like it will make it. Sometimes it just takes crossed fingers and patience.
