    I like the cone snail idea. I've kept a bunch of them, and my Conus magnificus (Eduardo) was my favorite, although I liked my Conus textiles (Paul & Art) a lot too. If I were going to keep one in Texas, I think I'd keep Conus bandanus. They are spectacular enough looking, and you can feed them Trochus or Astraea snails so they'd be easy to feed. The Fair Park Aquarium in Dallas has a pair of them. They claim they are easy to feed and maintain. You can't keep them in a tank with other cones, though, as they will kill any cone that can't kill them.

    I luv the blue rings. One of the fish stores in San Jose had a blue ring, when i was talking to one the guys there he said had a blue ring in 5 gal tank with a some type of Lion...what the hell are people thinking!!!
    i would like to have a shark tank one day!! but they are not poisonous, but can be deadly;D

    Why are all the real beautys dangerous, its like the best tasteing food is all junk lol...

    My LFS always gets them in too. They have them in their center display, but have them housed separately in small critter carriers, one in each of them. They are very pretty under actinics, but knowing how poisonous they are, no thank you. I'm glad no harm came out of your situation there, that would have been bad.
