Debatable lighting alternatives. The sun?

    Nope yellower, looking more like 5700K to 5800K. Iwasaki looks whiter it you could possibly beleive that! Worse part is that due to the intenity, you need that much more blue to compensate.

    Other than the more vivid color Corals like the Blue and Red Mushroom Corals and a few others, color did lack that we see in are artificial lighting with the Actinics in the Corals, it is misleading, I bought a Orange/Gold Ricordea for $29 for one animal and it ain't orange at all, however the actinic lighting made it orange, at night with just the actinic the orange in it lights up like a bulb, with the sun you see what you get and its real, another benefit was the corals iin that tank was never once fed, but I do admit I like what actinics lights do to my tank, even the rock has better color under them.

    Wow, that's a bit too yellow for my taste. It would be awesome for a grow out tank though IMO
