Decided i need to get RO unit, Suggestions?

I have five 5G plastic drinking water jugs I keep full all the time for water changes besides the 23 gallon Rubbermaid can for my topoff reservoir. The jugs are NSF food grade so fine for RO/DI.

At $129 its not near the value as the Pro Plus though. Lower quality prefilter, carbon block and an untreated membrane for one. It also does not include a pressure gauge, dual inline TDS meter nor DI resin specifically mixed for reef applications. Decent unit but not the same. Add up the cost of the better filters, batch tested and treated wet membrane, custom DI resin, TDS meter, pressure gauge and probably capillary tube flow restrictor and its much more in the end.
To its credit it does include a drain saddle and self piercing valve but many people end up throwing those away since they use them portable or do a more permament install.

This company also sells on the reef forums as PurelyH2o and is quite popular. At $129 its still not the value the Pro Plus is though. No TDS meter, no custom blended DI resin, no tested and treated membrane etc.
Look at every piece of those you are considering as it takes the all the components to be a system. The cost savings in replacement DI resin alone make the ProPlus a better value.
