I think I want to add a new fish or two to the tank ( See specs below), I am torn between a few options for various reasons and would appreciated some feedback, info, and suggestions.

Choice 1
- Golden Semilarvatus Butterflyfish

- Coral Beauty Angelfish
- Green Dragonet

Choice 2
- Swallowtail Angelfish
- Naso Tang/Flasher Wrasse
- Red Dragonet

These are my options based on two online vendors and so my concerns are first with the possibility of my Whitecheek Tang bullying the Butterfly to death since I havent added anything to the tank in 8 months and hes the "boss". (This is the main reason I plan on adding three fish at once to confuse him). My other concern is the Naso in my 125, Live Aquaria says this the the min tank size although it is a long footprint 6'X1.5'X2'. Also the compatibility of the Naso with the Whitecheek since hes been the boss for so long now. On a side note could a Swallowtail and Pygmy Angel coexist and if so would they need to be introduced at the same time or could it be separate. I know thats alot sorry guys and thanks for the help

Nasos generally are a great fish, they are very docile when it comes to terms of aggression. It is possible that the whitecheek may bully the naso, but in my Experience Highly unlikely. Depending on the size of the whitecheek I would go for a slightly larger naso if that was an option you'd want to do.

As for the Angelfish. Tangs and angels are notorious for starting fights with eachother. Normally the "Large" angels can coexist with the small/pigmy angels if they have been established to the tank 1st, but not always a guarantee.

As for the butterfly fish they are gorgeous. Ive wanted one for a long time for my FOWLR. However Im not 100% sure my FOWLR is going to stay that way ... may move it into a reef eventually. But that would nix the butterfly as they like certain corals and clams etc.

I like choice number two better if you got a reef. I like my swallowtail.

The cool thing about this butterfly is its the only one considered reef safe to my knowledge thats the reason he looks appealing

Eh, Its reef safe with caution, I would do some research to see why its the caution part, sometimes its because of clams or inverts...

I believe for now depending on how stocked your tank is. I have one in my 125 with a rabbit and two other tangs and a swallow tail. no complaints from him thus far.
