Has anyone had decorator crabs before, and if so are they reef compatable? I seen one at the LFS and it says it is reef safe but like to be informed. They are pretty cool looking and can always use help cleaning the algae and sand. Thanks in advance for the info.

Decorator crabs will take apart stuff in your tank, including corals, to stick on its back for camoflage so be prepared to deal with that. Otherwise, they're pretty reef safe but keep in mind that it is still a crab and, therefore, an opportunistic feeder.

I don't like crabs period. :( (at least in my tank. I do like them on the dinner table. ;) )
