    Check your pH too. It's likely to be sky high. Take it out and throw it away.

    it was in my hob filter for less then 1 minute. took it out when i noticed my skimmer foaming over.

    Yeah, I don't know what the problem is with this product. You're not the first person to report this. Be glad you took it out before the pH spiked.

    i put it in did some other stuff and my fiance like *** ur skimmers foaming over. i flipped the power strip as fast as i could and took the crap out. did a 15 gallon water change (i was planning on doing a 10 gallon change today so not a big deal). then i had to run the skimmer with an air line tube sucking out the crap in the colection cup for half an hour. its all good now just mad i spent $9 instead of $22 on gfo. just goes to prove you get what you pay for.

    well i guess gfo is a little bit better but it still comes with its own unique problems... :-/
