i'm looking to get the 90 from deep blue, i've read and heard that their stands aren't the greatest because they are fiberboard that won't hold up with time of spills and water/salt exposure. I've been looking at the R&J stands that i see even petco sells.

I would say that would be a very good deal. I might research the stand a little bit based on rc's input.

I cant comment on the price for a used setup, but we sell a lot of Deep Blue tanks. All have been solid, no issues whatsoever. I wouldnt worry about the stand, They are sturdy, well made and will hold up to plenty of moisture, though I wouldn't consider it a furniture grade stand. I had one that was used in my basement filter room and it got very wet on a regular basis. It didnt have any adverse effect on the stand. Just dont leave it in the rain, obviously.

Why are there 2 lights? You will probably end up buying one that you likely wont use.

Careful on some of the small items, chemicals and food have expiration dates and if they dont have much time left on them, they have no value.

    Good luck

Thanks for the info guys..I figured the tank, stand, filter, and skimmer to be worth the $700 alone and everything else to be "extra". As far as 2 lights, I'd say he added the led to get the shimmer effect because it's not the marineland reef led lights. I've read good and bad things about the tank itself. Bad being mostly sloppy caulking and overflow being too big. Just trying to get some opinions from the experts!!
