Deep Sea Aquatics Neo Nano Sump

Ok... I've come to the conclusion that I would like to start a reef in the aforementioned aquarium. Today, I actually got a chance to take a look at the sump that comes with the setup.

It is basically an 18" x 18" cube with 3 chambers... Two large end ones and a narrow center chamber. I would like to be able to have a refugium in my sump, but I'm uncertain as to what I can do with what is provided.

Does anyone here have any experience with this setup? Does anyone have any suggestions? I really appreciate it. I'm trying not to mess this up too badly.

I use DSA aquariums but I've never used their sumps sorry, I typically build my own out of either acrylic or a pre-made glass tank like a 20h/L

 

We have one in the store, it's been running for a year. We have the return pump on the back chamber, the Urchin protein skimmer in the front chamber and the center chamber is full of live rock. I guess you could use a light and some cheato in there.

Thanks... I was hoping to be able to cultivate some pods in there as well. Do you think this is possible with that sump, or should I find an alternate route?
