This is a really strange animal. very unique. I also wonder why it's head is clear...or rather, why our heads are not! :D

Well, we really don't want everyone to see how much (or how little) brains we really have do we? LOL

I read an article on it but don't remember where. If I remember right the cavity is fluid filled and might function as a sensory organ like whales' and dolphins' echolocation system.

Wow,really neat looking,i love deep sea life! But wouldn't the cavity have to be fliud filled to also equalize pressure to keep the head from caving in?But that much fluid with the thin transparent dome(i mean, theres alot of empty space there), i would think it would be super sensitive to presure changes, vibrations, noises, etc.I'd almost bet if a diver could be close by in the water,it could hear his heartbeat,as well as using it for echo location or who knows what?Just some thoughts.Very awesome fish!

2in10 & Grinder, sensory organ sounds about right. That thing has a very dolphin looking nose, too. I wonder if it was twitching because the vibrations from the machinery were bugging it?

I swear that things looks CGI LOL.
