You and me both! I'm looking forward to adding a few corals too.

 

just read your other post i have a 44 long with that light (nova t5 great light)
but i all so have a 46 bow with the mh in the center it is about 8 inches above the tank and i have no melting problems

 

The tank is looking great! Very nice moonlights, too.

 

Thanks. Now I've got to figure out how to incorporate them with my new light beause it was delivered today(along with my skimmer and a few other odds and ends. This stuff was not scheduled for delivery until nest Tuesday so it was a big surprise! I'm glad it did come today because I have spent all day setting things up and making a new top because my old glass top would not fit with the skimmer. I ended up replacing the rear piece of glass and splash guard with a piece of thick acrylic. That was a lot of work getting things cut out but I felt it was important because of the goby.

Edit: I'll get more pics when I get this mess cleaned up tomorrow.

New resident

Before if got my surprise shilment yesterday, I was at the LFS and picked up a Tiger Pistol shrimp and a yellow watchman goby. I have not been able to get a pic of the shrimp yet.

 

New equipment

Here are a few pics I took this morning with the new equipment. In addition to the lights and skimmer I got a bunch of test kits(beyond the basics I had already), a light timer, ground probe, and a refractometer.

Thanks. I'm really looking forward to getting some easy corals in there. Not sure what I'll be getting yet. Still researching and shopping around.
