Thanks. I was off work today so I was able to do a little work on it. When I first set it up, it was so LOUD! The draining noise from the overflow box and the splashing noise into the sump were really getting on my nerves. I ran an airline tube into the overflow and it helped a little with the noise but I still was not satisfied. I extemded the drain into the sump to below the water level and that eliminated the splashing noise but slowed the overflow box drain and made the tank water level rise. I built a Stockman standpipe for the overflow box an that helped a little bit more. I finally added a ball valve on the sump return line and closed it down a little to slow the pump. Now the water level is where I want it and the noise is at a minimum.;D

The tank looks great! I was going to ask about the rock and the light, but you already answered that :)

That sump is pretty cool for that stand, IMO. Small, fits like a glove, and functional. Nice work. :)

I may be picking up a used light fixture this evening. I'm still negotiating a final price. It is a 48" Coralife fixture with dual MH and dual PC plus moonlights.

I had errands to run tonight so I didn't have a lot of time to mess with the tank. I did get all the wires a little more organized and got the timers setup for the lights. I also put my sump light in and put a little ball of chaeto in there.

My next project, besides cleaning up my mess in the garage, is to make a couple of mesh tops so I can remove the glass ones. I am going to make them like I did for my last tank, using window screen frames with black bird netting. I still have a lot of the netting but I need to get to the hardware store and get the frame kits.

On a side note. When I was moving my livestock over I did not find my pistol shrimp anywhere. That must be why my goby started acting weird shortly before the upgrade.:(
