i was just wondering how good these skimmers are, there is one going cheap on ebay, and if it is a good buy, i might go for it,
it is used, but could do with a clean, the guy says that the pump seems to work but could prob do with a good clean too, it has not been used for some time, so is probably all dried up,
do you think it is worthwhile? and what sort of price should i pay? any help would be much appreciated,

What is the link to the skimmer? I just hopped on eBay and don't see it. Deltec is among the best you can get. They are not cheap.

You cannot lose with AquaCs either. When I was doing my research, I was looking at the AquaC EV series, the PM Bullet series and the Deltecs. They are all good skimmers and will serve you well. I ended up with an old style used ETSS. It was sold to me by a reputable dealer, so I had no problem going for that one as well.

    Just don't buy a Jebo.

And I was just wondering Jay, where is your "pound" symbol located on your keyboard? I don't have one. Not that it surprises me, just curious. Also, the way the dollar is, I think your estimate of $40 is probably $400. Jeez.

hi mate, im really having trouble deciding, its either deltec, or aquac, both seem to be about the same money, only thing tipping me the deltec way, is that i cant find anyone that sells aquac over here?
lol, my pound sign is on, my number 3 key, im sure us spec's are next to the r/hand shift key?

no when i say $40 that is what that second hand mc600 went for:(
but i know that a new aquac is gonna cost me $400 delivered:eek: to uk? lol

    thanks mate, jay
