I do beading and sometimes it's hard to tell if a bead is glass or plastic and two tests one isn't that suitable for a tank (you tap it on your teeth you'll feel the difference) the other is that glass will feel cold but plastic won't.

    Alrighty then!

so I finally, FINALLY got everything in and all setup. Here she is ladies and gentlemen.

That picture was taken a couple days ago and since then I have made an attempt to clean up the wiring and hung a LED fixture I just received today.

The LED fixture is a Chinese 55 - 3w Bridgelux running on 3 separate drivers.
    driver 1- 12 NW,6 UV,2 Red,4 RB,2 Blue
    driver 2- 26 RB
    driver 3- 3 moonlights

All LEDs are dimmable and the fixture can be programmed with the built in controller. Very similar the the Reefbreeders or the Evergrow.

Well here she is with everything in its place and setup.

All I have left to actually do is, replace the bearings in my blue box MP10 (eventually going to upgrade it to ES) and to paint the mounting bars for the light fixture black (when it gets a little nicer outside).

I'm really excited to actually have her finally setup and everything running.

Now its the waiting game we allll love and enjoy.

stay tuned for more updates to come.

thanks! took a few months to get everything, and decide what equipment to get, but shes finally done! I'm pretty happy with it lol. Just a few more tweaks here and there.

I was thinking of not running a skimmer, do you think its a good idea as long as I keep up with my water changes?

You do not need a skimmer. Low bio-load and some routine water changes.

yea, I love clowns, I've always had a clown pair. I do love the look and characteristics of bangaiis tho, and was thinking of maybe switching it up a bit. Iunno lol, I guess I got a bit of time to decided still.
