    I must say I love my 181- easy to set skimmer level and pulls TONS of gunk. Definetly a "coffee" skimmer!

    Is the MF161 still at $260? I may be interested in this fairly soon. i might have bought a 130 gallon tank and have been looking aorund for a skimmer.

    How would you say the MF161 would compare to the skimmer i was looking at....something along these lines.

    Yes, I'd say it's comparable with these exceptions.

    The MF161 only draws 15w, the MF161 probably has more internal body volume and it's $200 less...
