So I hate my current tanks dimension 30 long 18 wide 24 tall.it is a 56 column. I've been wanting a breeder for a while but the forty is too short. Well I finally found my 50 which is two inches taller 36x18x18. With a stand. I ordered 30 lbs of Florida rock from reef cleaners, and managed to find someone on cl selling 25 lbs of shelf and nano rock from Marco unused for cheap. Just ordered the 120w bridgelux from reef breeders and thinking of doing two mp10s. If the reef breeders fixture isn't enough I have three par30s and one par38 that I can incorporate. I really only want sps at the top because I am more of a lps zoa guy so I think I should be fine.

Going to get rid of that shelf because I am using a 29 tall as a sump and my reef octopus which I am in love with sits pretty high. Might also try and pick up a reef keeper lite.

I used a glass holes 700 gallon per hour overflow..my butt cheeks were puckering doing that..one concern...any one else have one?I feel like there is a good 1/8" space between the gasket and the hole..seems big to me. No leaks yet but I'm worried. I am leaving it full outside til tomorrow to check. Return is going to be a quiet one pump.

Thursday I will get to start scaping but I have to semi tear down my old tanks above tank fudge in order to put it where I want. This is going to be a fun process....

So in about two hours there is like half a bead of water on the gasket. Should I just re tighten it and add silicone on the outside?

Looks like a good build. That water would bother me but I'm paranoid lol. I would tighten and see if that helps. But that's not a lot of water.
