    Hi there,

I'm looking to convert my (humble) reef tank from its HOB skimmer to a sump/overflow setup, but before I buy the hardware online I'd like to know whether or not things will fit between my tank and the wall -- I've got 3.5" back there to work with.

Sooo... does anyone have a CS90 that they could measure? Would that fit?

Or are there any other brands/models out there that are less deep, and might work?

    Thanks! :)

3.5" is going to be VERY tight, I don't think you will have enough room, much less enough room to work with to get the plumbing work done. I have a CS100, which is pretty much the same dimensions and have less than 2 feet from my wall to my tank to give me enough room to work on the tank and that is very tight for me to work with.
If it's possible, I would move the tank away from the wall a little bit.

Thanks for the info, both of you. Is what I feared, I guess.

So any thoughts on how to move a 90 gallon tank a few inches, without emptying it? :)
