So as some of you may have seen my tank had a leak so i put my fish into my dads tank for a few days/weeks until i get one set back up. He has been waiting for our fish guy to get in a desjardini for a two months now and finally he got one in for us...
Only problem is, my yellow tang was just put into his tank three days ago :(
What kind of aggression can i expect from adding a sailfin now? I dont know the size of it yet

Boy that's a toss up::) Depends on the gender, size and disposition. Generally I've heard that these two tangs get along but nothing is etched in stone. As you know I built that eggcrate aclimater, that may be an option here. Just a thought.

If the yellow was just added, most likely they will be fine...... As long as they both have some swimming room of course.

I was actually seriously considering this... Is your copper banded doing okay?

What size is the tank? Since your yellow tang is not established in your dad's tank, that will help with the aggression issue. But I would also see if your LFS guy can hold the sailfin for you for a little bit. Maybe you can have your tank up and running by then.

They will probably be fine, I had a sailfin and a YT in the same tank (90g) and there were no issues.

I agree because it takes tangs a while to fully fit into their surroundings. I wouldn't push it though.;)
