    Hey,

So I was playing around with my lighting and since my tank is next to my desk I decided to try to shine my desk lamp light on top of the tank to see what it would look like (had blue stunner strips on as well)...to my amazement it looks AWESOME! :) .....It kind of has a deep sea look to it (lots of blue patches/shadows) with a unique metal halide shimmer. The shimmer is almost identical of a MH.

My question is, is this bad for my tank or are there any problems or concerns I should be aware of? The desk lamp: Hg Bright Effects 13W, 120VAC, 60Hz, 220mA.....I think it is an energy saving one. I'm not looking to supplement my nova, but just like at night because it looks pretty cool.

    Thanks

    That shouldn't be a problem.
