those lights could light a Fish only tank. I wouldnt trust them to grow any corals in your size of tank. Defiantely not even a nem.

Not over a long time, it may tide things over for a bit but not long enough. Save that 150$ and put it towards a better light. What is your Budget? have you thought about maybe fixing what ever went wrong with your PC lighting? ( just a thought)

Yes, I've thought about fixing my PC's, and/or buying another PC set of 2 x 36in. A website that sells the parts hasn't called me back.

There are alot of choices out there.

id say go t5 or halide. Pcs are cheap but bulbs wear out to fast and are expensive to replace.

Mh= cheaper for high power yet you pay over the long run in energy and bulbs

LED- cheap long term as no replacement needed. Very low energy usage but typically higher cost for the unit you will want (quality) unless you can DIY- I did

T-5 kind of the new PC imo. Energy efficient though not the same as an LED fixture. Bulbs are cheaper to replace then MH and according to Mr. Bill you can buy a complete setup for 150 bucks. I have no idea where but sounds like what you should do to me.

Compared to your pc lighting, T5 will make you wet your pants

I have one of those 36" Beams work for my 65G tank... bought it 3 weeks ago...it work ok..if your tank is not a wide tank (front to back) ever I use it with 2 other Blue strip that I have it seem ok. I only have few softies in my tank.

But last week I decided to with RAPIDLED 36 DIY dimmable kit with 8UV kit. Thise BeamsWorks is ok...for the price but...just not enough for me.
