    I haven't, but I will pick some up this weekend and see how it does. I used it before I had them but it got dirty quickly and I took it out and forgot to get more..

    Nope feeding isn't the issue, they eat like crazy.

    A few years ago, I was sold one for a 55g tank on the pretense that it would scavenge and keep the sand clean. It cleaned out the micro organisms, and despite the fact that it ate frozen clam and squid, only lasted about 5 months afterward. I've seen quite a few others suffer the same fate here on 3Reef. Filling their belly is not the main issue- they'll eat anything when hungry; providing the proper nutrition for long-term survival is the problem. The diamond goby gets his from sandbed infauna.

    Longest iv had one is two years
