Would a well established Diamond Goby pair up with a Pistol Shrimp? The Goby has been in the tank about 3 months. What are the benefits of this relationship? Has anyone done this before?

From my research, although the diamond goby is a "watchman" they will NOT pair up as easily as other types of gobys.

I have a well established diamond and he has absolutely nothing to do with the pink-barred/pistol pair that I have. They have claimed opposite sides of the tank.

Dang. You have two Gobys in the same 150 tank? How is the interaction between the two? What kind of Goby is the second?

Yes. I have a diamond that stays on the right side and a pink-barred that is paired with the pistol that stays towards the left side.

I have had no issues with them. Actually, when I first got the pink/pistol - the pistol died and it took me about 2 weeks to get it replaced. The diamond and the pink-barred sort of paired up and shared the same burrow at night.
