Well I picked up a diamond goby for my 58g yesterday and woke up to a fish chip in front of the tank this AM so I guess he didn't like the new house

Probably going to go back and get another dragon goby this evening, have one in my 24g and he's done great

I love those Goby's a dragon in good color is a pretty nice looking fish. Have you tested the tank for any voltage ? I find them to not be that much of a jumper as a rule . Unless somthing spookes them.. I've only had one or two of many to jump out .

he was being weird from the moment we put him in, there is a ground probe in the sump.
if you walked up to the tank he'd jump, the moment he got into the tank he swam straight to the top and started leaping at the light fixture for about 5 minutes, then swam down to the bottom and made a burrow and laid there for the rest of the evening, woke up to him in front of the tank so he was just skittish the whole time

I really like them I want to get myself one and like all many never clam down or get used to the confines of a aquarium just a few days earlier it was on a real reef , It Sucks you lost the loot and all as we all have but hey it was only a fish and not somthing importiant . Now I want another one :) I had one in Richmond for many yrs just died last March I think my son said I guess I had him for 5 yrs or more .

Well some fish just will not aclimate to the confines of a home aquarium, you might get one of the same fish , like my brown barred goby, he'll eat any thing offered and then of course Omard (scott) had the same fish and died shortly after he'd had the same fish because it would not take any thing other than sifting the sand, mine on the other hand "changed" it's diet as well to acomidate shrimp and even dried sea weed.

So you might get another one and he'll be just like he never left the reef from which he was caught.
