    I'm working on cleaning the new limestone sand I just got. Figure a few more rinses and then ill do a substrate change...sounds like my weekend is booked up.

    Took out the old sand, some was black and NASTY, and some of the rocks were nasty where they were in the sand... seriously almost threw up :) Is it okay to just add new sand still, and how do I prevent that from happening again?
