So for my corallife skimmer, I had it sitting with the pump in a broken down tank with some water in the bottom. I had some time off today and decided to finally cleanup and clear out the things that I wasnt using. I planned on putting this skimmer back on my sump when I get it online. However, I realized the whole cord was laying in the water included the plug-in.

Has this shot the chord? I havent plugged it in yet as its still drying and I am worried about any water that may have seeped into the cord...

    What do you all think?

Should be fine. If there is any rust on the prongs, try and remove it with steel wool before using it. Otherwise... no problem.

I'd imagine by now if any moisture got into the cord it's long gone. Make sure there's no oxidation on the male plug and run it. I would have after using a towel to hand dry it.
