I have two awesome cleaner shrimp in my tank...very friendly and active. Came home today, and found one by the back of the tank. I think it is just its old shell, but ive never seen this before, and im not sure. Even the head and the antanae are shed? I cant find him/her around anywhere. It looks like it was completely sucked out of its shell or something. Up until last night, it seemed to be acting perfectly normal. These guys are some of my favorite inhabitants. I hope its not a carcass. Can someone chime in please? Thanks in advance.

Probably a molt. Yes, the molts are complete. Head, antennae, legs, the whole works ;)

They are fun when you dry them out, and then place them about strategically where "jumpy" people may venture ;)

I hope you guys are right. Is it safe to assume that this is a sign of a healthy and normal tank/environment? And also should I leave it in there, or take it out? Thanks again guys.

Well, it's safe to assume you have proper calcium and iodine levels and you have a healthy cleaner shrimp ;)
You can take it out or leave it in, either way. It will dissolve in about 3 days.
