    Hi,

I just got two feather dusters yesterday, and just a few minutes ago I found my hermit crab eating one of them. The crown/feathers are untouched but he ripped off the fleshy part, id say maybe a quarter or less of it. Did he kill my feather duster? I hate to see him go, the other one i got has not extended its feathers, but another one i got last week is doing really well. I really like them.

    thanks in advance,

    maudi

I have a giant feather duster and it hasn't been touched by my blue legged hermits and the are pretty big... however mine could be a different situation. Also they may know it is already on its way out and are just cleaning up.
