Ummmm if I read this corectly your target feeding coral vit...I use this on my tank and just read the directions and it says nothing about using it for target feeding..it should only be used to add vits and such back to the water colum in a high flow area...I'm not to sure about the microvert as I have never used it..

the neather coarl vit or microvert say anything about target feeding. That is what the dealer i got the coral was doing. I also know that thare are sevrol locals that are doing it the same way with grate outcomes. is it right??? i have no idea and i've stoped doing it to see what happends. I did drop them to the bottom but that was only about a two inch move for them. I know neather realy liked abunch of light and had them down close to the bottom anyways. I figured i would wait a day or two and if they don't get any better i'll find them some shade. does that sound about right?? And thanks for all the help and ideas.

Moving them down is the right thing to do. They only have to be moved up slowly. The brain doesn't look too bad. The acans could be more full, but depends on when you took the picture.

Like M2434 asked, the alk test and the dKH test are the same thing, but you have different results. You need to verify what your alkalinity really is.
