Ok this is kind of noobish but the LFS's here have all mentally challenged people employed there.

Ok I have a pair of true percs in the 58g, as they've gotten older they've started to darken in color, not like black and white percs but just to a less brilliant orange color, my question is this. Do false percs or Occeleris (sp?) clowns keep their really bright orange their whole lives or do they change as well?

Clowns may tend to get deeper coloration as they grow and mature such is evident with Tomato Clowns!

Diet also plays a role in their coloration. True Perculas have more black in them then the ocellarris but ocellaris can have the same amount. However the dark colored clowns start out orange like the black and white clowns.

FYI, the only difference between True perculas and ocellaris is Perculas are western pacific, ocellaris are eastern pacific.

I had heard that the black lines are much thicker on true percs. Then again this could just be my LFS talking crap - wouldn't be the first time.
