difference in bulbs PAR value?

    is there a difference in a 14k bulb from a 10k bulb in PAR value? which has the best PAR value?

    check out the Q&A... i have pictures of spectral analysis to show the differences

    but yes, the closer to 6500k the bulb is, the higher the PAR

    The PAR value is more dependant on bulb quality (brand name) than color temperature. A low quality daylight (10000k) bulb can have less PAR than a high quality blue (20000k) bulb. However in bulbs of the same quality generally lower K values mean more PAR.

    See here for examples. The ATI Blue Plus puts out way more PAR than the Current USA 10000k.
