difference of table salt and sea salt,just wanting to know

    Table salt does not have all the trace elements nor does it have the same proportions of Mg and Ca or other ratios....

    Just to add to this--I'd say that table salt is more closely NaCl. Salt derived from the ocean via evaporation contains many other compounds, and trace elements as Dr. Frag mentions.

    Table salt is usually mined, and processed to remove items that give it color or off-flavors. It's often dosed with anti-caking ingredients to help with flow. Also, as the label might say, it often supplemented with iodine, which is a necessary nutrient for us, but occurs at a fraction of this level in sea salt.

    Sea salt is less refined/processed, but contains more components, since it occurs naturally.
