All they have now is pressure treated wood. But they said I can lay it out in the sun until it dries or order regular wood. Max 450 Gallons not including the sump.

No sir its going to be a reef. 3 sided viewing. I want to add a couple more tangs to the mix, another school of anthias, and a school of wrasses of some sort. I mainly want the room for my tangs. And of all fails, then yes I can make it a shark tank.

It's going to be sweet. You're going to need a forklift to move it but after it's built you could probably park an Abrams on it. :)
    Like the fail plan too!

Great Plan. I think your stand is over built you don't really need 4x4's. 2x4s and 2x6 will be fine and you would only need 2x6 for the 7 foot spans

Can't wait to see the build

Converting to a shark tank would be easy... just add shark, lol!

Looks like a good design, what about cross-braces?

Four fiddy... that sounds like a future hot thread on 3reef. Cant wait!

Well I am cutting the forklift out of the picture for the simple fact that I will be building this bad boy in the house. I will be making the saw cuts in the garage and piecing it up in the room. I'll probably park an Abrams and a Sherman on it. LOLOLOL;D;D;D
