Hey guys, I took some more shots at the LFS today. I wanted to know what you thought of a bit of RAW processing I did with Digital Photo Pro though. Here's the before:

    And the after:

So, what do you guys think? Any tips on using DPP? This is only the 4th photo I've run through the editing tools in DPP.

Yeah looks great. I see a big difference in the colours and sharpness of the image.

Well thank you for the compliments!

I'm starting to see an issue though. I have these in DPP, then when I go to open them in Photoshop, it opens them with Camera RAW (totally normal), except it reverts all the changes I made! Any ideas how to get it to recognize those edits done in DPP?

That's a great shot. I can see you upped the contrast a bit.

What is the file format you saved it in from DPP? Did you call it the same name as your original image?

Thanks! I did a bit more than just the contrast though. I messed around with the histogram a decent amount, and other settings.

As for the program issues, DPP lets you save the same file, and revert changes if you want, so I tried that first. C-RAW didn't deal with that, so I tried a wholly separate file, but you can't get rid of the original state with DPP, so it's basically the same thing as the original file. I imagine if you could save the modified version only, this wouldn't be a problem.

    d'oh! Just figured it out!

There's an option in DPP that lets you transfer images to Photoshop. I guess they knew about the issues with Photoshop reading the edits from DPP
