Anyone found a solution to dealing with digitate hydroids in the last few months? Search turned up nothing really other than manual removal which in my case can't be done really... I removed a few I could find and 20 come back in their place. I counted no less than 30 a few nights ago. They don't seem to be stinging anything important, but I think they may have killed off my hitchhiker tunicate colony since that's where half of them are.

I'm also not going to encase my thriving live rock in epoxy putty, since that's what it would require to get them all....

Anyways... Digitate hydroids. They need to die. Please advise!

Something much eat them....or some chemical must target them.

Wish I could help but I have no experience with them. From everything that I've read, they're nearly impossible to get rid of. I'm sure that you've probably read the same :(
