So I just moved into a new home in September. Took me until the beginning of dec to move the old tank into the new tank, a 120g. Well already, 2 month later I have the bug for a bigger tank. Better dimensions. I found an aga 210g with dual corner overflows for a great deal about an hour away from me.. I'm so tempted to pick up this tank... It has no stand but he is throwing in a lot of extras too. Apparently leaving the hobby. My dilemma is that I still have my previous 75g, and my current 120g. Seems that tanks are hard to get rid of. Anyone else know what im going through? Wonder if it'll ever end.. I think I have to get it... It's too good to pass up.

Used aren't hard to sell if you are not trying to sell them for more than new. Had that problem until three days ago then just said oh well and bought new. Make it a fair price and they will sell.

On going to a 210 vs a 120 some key things to think about:

    - I don't know what protein skimmer you have right now, but you will likely need to upgrade.

    - The stand won't be cheap and it will be difficult to find a used one to fit. Plan on anywhere between $400 and $1200 depending on what you want to do.

    - Water changes need to be accommodated for. For a 120g you can do a water change in a single 35 gallon Rubbermaid trash can. A 210 takes two and makes them more difficult. Figure this aspect out before you get going or you will tend to do them less and it will hurt the health of the tank.

    - What are you going to do for lights?

Go for it. You will be glad you did. Selling the old stuff is not hard if you price it right.

I think I'm gonna go for it. I have a lot of ideas as I'm sure all of you do when you're getting a new tank.
I will definitely be upgrading my skimmer since the bubble magus nac7 won't handle so much volume.
I would be using my current 250w x 2 lighting centered and build some diy led for the 1 ft on each side.
The tank would be going near a "utility" room that all my current gear occupies now. I've got a nice system set up that makes life much simpler. There will be plumbing into my fish room to make water change a breeze.
I would be building a stand for it as well as a canopy. There will be plumbing into my fish room.

This will be a very slow build though. I really want this to be the last tank and the most efficient in terms of maintenance etc.
Thanks for all the encouragement!! ENABLERS!!!! Hahaha
