    So the Typhon will not connect to the RKL as the control module? :-/

    Its just a little annoying how model a doesn't work with model b but they do virtually the same thing and both cost hundreds of dollars >.< I asked AquaIlluminations if they would work on making their AI Sol controller more versitile because it's a very sleek and nice controller.

    But how about this evolved:

    Use the Typhon to control my LEDs (of course I would have to get the PWM drivers) But then use the Reefkeeper Lite as a controller for other functions like wavemaker ATO temp control, ozone, ect?

    3reef buddy is offering a good deal on both the Typhon and RKL since he does not have much use for them

    That'd be fine. The Typhoon is really designed to be a stand-alone light controller. Trying to "mate" it with another controller is overly complicating things.
