Well it is the chromis's fault he keeps wanted to hang close to the goby and the goby don't like it and keeps niping at his tail. it has already tanken a good chunk out of the bottom of it. Stupied chromis.

I just recently bought a pair of Yellow Watchman Gobies and a Candy Stripe Pistol Shrimp. They two YWGs went into my Yellow Headed Sleeper's den and he put his mouth around one of their tails probably just to let them know he was there. No damage though.

well the chromis bit the dust. It definatly was the dimond that niped him to death. He had plenty of room but just wouldn't stay away.

Thats odd. Are you sure the chromis wasn't already weak? Was it the only chromis? They can get stressed if they're alone. This doesn't make sense. Diamond Gobies aren't in the least bit aggressive as far as I know. I've most certainly never heard of one killing another fish.

it was the only chromis an I think it wanted a friend so it kept hanging around goby. goby just didn't want him near him.

Chromis need to be kept in a group. Having one in a tank usually stresses the fish and it will eventually perish so if you decide to get another, make sure you get at least 4 - K+ for the loss

Rip, sorry for your loss. Good thing it was a chromis and not the Goby.
